In brief, In the modern world, the commodification the media creates the gap between an individual’s real-life vs. the alienated one. By altering our perceptions, mediums change our priority and makes us alienated from each other. I believe the solution will be found by focusing on Carl Jung’s concept of the Individuation process, and it can be only achieved by seeing the whole world as it is ought to be, not what we want them to be.
